Cars Imports by Country
Global purchases of imported cars in 2015 totaled US$678.4 billion. Overall, the value of cars imports for all importing countries was up by an average 6.2% since 2011 when international car imports were valued at $639 billion.

From a continental perspective, European Union members accounted for the highest dollar worth of imported cars during 2015 with purchases valued at $252.3 billion or 37.2% of the global total. In second place were North American importers at 30.2% while 20.5% of worldwide cars imports were delivered to Asian clients.
