Port of Tanzania must be provided with ICD at the time of booking

Recently, CMA (Flying Vessel) has notified the ship owner that the consignor is required to provide the carrier with a specific ICD name to be shipped to the carrier in accordance with the local port of Tanzania, the local goods (non-transit goods) imported into the port of Tanzania.

If the shipper does not specify the ICD, or the ICD description is incorrect, the container cargo will be parked at the unloading terminal or shipped under the discharge terminal. The resulting risks, costs and liabilities are borne by the seller.

Therefore, at the time of booking, the ICD information designated by the passenger must be provided to the shipping company through the manner described in the following notification and the description format.

1. The customer has displayed the specific ICD name specified in the "description" column by EDI (ebooking and ESI)
2. Description: At shipper's request cargo transfer to ***, under Merchant's risks, cares and expenses, CMA CGM LIABILITY CEASES POD (***).
3. The bill of lading shows the above
4. The ICD requested by the Passenger is an effective ICD for operation.
